Hello, my name is Kara and I have started a dream of mine that I cannot wait to share with you all.

After taking the first step to go in and get my first set of Hair Extensions 5 & a half years ago, it led me on a journey.

A journey where I thought would be a great opportunity to provide this service to the local community. Travelling from the Gladstone region to the Sunshine Coast to ensure my hair was in the best hands with high quality products and service.

I was sold after my first appointment and felt a million dollars and was in love with the results.

While getting my Hair done it was just so easy creating such great relationships and having a fun lighthearted space with lots of happiness and laughter. Leaving the salon each time after getting my Hair Extensions I felt empowered and confident.

This led me to be inspired and I seen a vision that I could bring to light.

I want you to get longevity out of your new hair! I have pulled together a guide to help your luscious locks stay

fabulous between maintenance appointments.

Maintaining Your Extensions

How To Maintain Your Extensions

Do not wash your hair for 48 hours after your tape extension application.

Maintenance is recommended every 4-6 weeks.

Naturally you lose roughly 100-150 pieces of hair a day. Hair will be brushed out during your maintenance appointment

but do not confuse this for damage. This is what your hair has naturally shed during the 4-6 weeks.

You may tone the hair extensions, but it is not recommended to bleach them AT ALL.

Brush your extensions BEFORE washing. Never brush wet hair. Brushing wet hair causes breakage.

Plaiting or braiding your extensions at nighttime will prevent tangling whilst sleeping.

Do not scrub your roots aggressively whilst shampooing.

Do NOT use any product containing KERATIN or PROTEIN. These ingredients can be found in products

labeled reconstructing or repairing. Always check the ingredients before

using on your extensions.

Are you thinking of getting hair extensions but not sure which ones you want?

Send a photo of your hair from behind and I will colour match you, quote you and let you know what I recommend all free of charge.

If you would prefer a consultation in the salon that's fine.

Send 2-3 photos in natural light. Avoid direct sunlight as this can make your hair appear lighter than what it is.

Don't use flash, filters or edit the pictures in any way.

Make sure your hair is down, so we can see the full colour from root to tip.

Muk Ultra Soft Shampoo & Conditioner are HIGHLY recommended.

Use a hair oil once daily or as needed to keep your extensions hydrated and soft. Moroccan oil is recommended as

it doesn't contain any red tones, so it won't change the colour of your blonde extensions. Our hair care pack can be

purchased in store.

The extensions aren't attached to your scalp, so they don't receive the same oil that your hair produces naturally. By applying

a hair oil regularly, it keeps your extensions hydrated, soft, and prolongs the life expectancy.

Apply a leave in conditioner before swimming. Using a high silicone conditioner such as Pantene is recommended as it acts as a protective barrier between the hair extensions and the salt / chlorine.

Using heat on your extensions everyday shortens the life span of them. By applying a thermal heat protectant before using heating tools on them, will help protect them from heat damage. We recommend Bumble & Bumble Invisible Oil Primer.

When using your heating tools, keep the heat away from the bonds of the extensions.
